Pussy Riot: Riot Days (RUS)

website, facebook, trailer, youtube1, youtube2
Protest art collective once based in Moscow, formed in 2011 with approx. 11 women, known for unauthorised provocative guerrilla punk rock performances in unusual public places, which brought 3 of them to prison camps.
Maria Alyokhina and Alexander Cheparukhin are crafting a bold new version of “Riot Days”. This iteration delves into Maria’s personal journey post-liberation from Russian prison in 2022: Pussy Riot protests, including their clash with Cossacks during the 2014 Sochi Olympics. Attacks by pro-Kremlin groups. The heroic story of Alexey Navalny, his arrest, imprisonment, and murder in prison. Maria’s multiple arrests. Putin’s invasion of Ukraine.
